| I quite enjoy Limnos cappuccino, so I was eager to try Limnos in Green Point.
We were seated and then our watron disappeared. We eventually went to the cake counter to place our order. She was busy serving someone else who couldn't make up his mind what he wanted. We stood there for over 5 minutes without even being acknowledged. Eventually we placed our order and were told that it would be brought to our table.
Cappuccino: strong but great flavour. Average amount of foam. (Right picture)
Chocolate mousse cake: I asked the server if she could please cut the cake in half for us, as we wanted to share. She said no, but she would give us a knife and we could do it ourselves. I was a little upset by this, as she has a lovely long sharp knife which she refused to use and expected us to cut it with a short blunt knife. Oh well. I've had chocolate mousse cake at the Canal Walk branch many times. This chocolate mousse cake didn't taste anything like normal. When I asked the waitress if this was indeed chocolate mousse cake, she said it was. If you say so. (Left picture).
Overall, a very disappointing experience. Service was terrible. |
