| This was our first visit to Dario's Italian Cafe. Dario's has tables inside (non smoking) and outside on the enclosed verandah (smoking). Inside is very small and was completely full when we visited, so we decided to sit outside.
It was a cold and rainy day but due to the heaters on the ceiling and being enclosed it was quite pleasant.
Their menu is quite extensive and includes a nice breakfast selection, toasted sandwiches, etc. Dario came and chatted to us and mentioned that if what we wanted was not on the menu, they would make it up for us.
The place was buzzing and we got the feeling there were a great deal of regulars.
Service was fast and friendly. We both had breakfast which was quite enjoyable. Only complaint is that we asked for the fried eggs to be cooked medium and they came more on the hard side. And the scrambled eggs were a little on the undercooked side.
The coffee (Cappuccino and Latte) was rather nice.
We look forward to returning for a second visit. |
